If as a #libertarian you like to explain to people that you're "not on the left or the right," but then you harp relentlessly about the excesses of #wokeism while shrugging and remaining largely silent about DeSantis's culture war or attacks on drag shows, consider that you are in fact not nonpartisan at all, but in fact very much on the conservative right.

Concerned about TikTok accessing and selling personal information, and using it to manipulate you?

Wait until you hear about credit rating companies, HR companies, real estate verification companies, online mental health companies, direct to consumer DNA companies, the trackers on just about every news web site, and FB, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Snap, and Pinterest.

Morning everybody, I guess we’re doing Monday. Right now I’m wishing for mid-April, because honestly I’m thoroughly over the cold and especially the added dampness that comes with the rain. I’m still trying to figure out what today’s work playlist is going to be, although it’s probably going to be something chilled out. State College

ICYMI in my feed yesterday Mozilla Firefox has browser anti-fingerprinting built in, it’s just not enabled by default.

Browser fingerprinting is when 3rd parties use your computer’s characteristics such as which fonts you have installed, your type and number of CPUs, etc. to uniquely identify you to advertisers or other even less friendly sorts.

In Firefox type in About:config, click the warning then type in the search window: resist

Set
privacy.resistFingerprinting
to True.
