Please tell me you made that point to the lecturer out loud.

As far as I can tell, melody isn't dependent on time of day, but on the other hand there's nothing governing it, so if you wanted to you could have a melody for morning weekday, and then one for nighttime weekday, same for Shabbat, ETC. It's one of those songs whose lyrics will fit a ton of melodies. Do you have a favorite siddur?

It's been included after the bedtime Shema for a long tome. The old Birnbaum Siddur has it there, as does ArtScroll, of course. So I'd say at least that there's nothing that says it can't be there.

@Rickster1963 Have you tried those three-cheese omlets from Eggland's Best? It's not homemade, but it'd give you a pretty good packaged one. I don't know if they have other ones like ham or whatever.

@dukepaaron Yeah I get beer festivals. But, the homebrew/craft beer communities haven't spent the last several years subjecting their Jewish/Israeli members to purity tests and excluding them as they inevitably fail them because the goalposts have always been shiny and portable either.

@dukepaaron I'm not giving any of them any benefit of the doubt by this point. For the calendar stuff, our calendar is published, all over the place, literally decades in advance. You can add it by default to your iPhone *and* your Android device, to say nothing of your Google calendar without Android at this point for crying out loud. Trust me, if they really wanted to be inclusive, they'd avoid this kind of stuff.
