No you're not the only one. That works well on Twitter, but Mastodon has never supported this, so it's going to look weird unless/until Mastodon decides to actually implement the quoting feature. And no I don't want to rehash the somewhat regular rehashing of for and against quoting on Mastodon.

@vol4life8657 I'm glad Linux on the desktop has worked so well for you. For us though, the accessibility situation in general and the screen reader situation in particular makes that quite the efficiency nightmare, to say nothing of outright accessibility barriers that also come up.

I think Linux is excellent for servers, but I wouldn't want to rely on it for my day-to-day tasks. Mostly because I'm not trying for a world where I'm constantly hacking to get things done. I already have to do too much of that.

I hear you on this.
