Can we have some personal profiles of people who drowned on the Med trying to find refuge in Europe instead please?

Their stories are much more important to be told.

@RickiTarr Also it'd be helpful of the people who insist they're just asking questions spoke up when someone like Desantis tries to prevent trans adults from getting their meds or when Texas tries to separate trans kids from their parents because the parents are gender affirming. So far they're not doing that, which makes their just-asking-questions ring quite hollow.

@bruce_toews I think almost all of us have been in the situation where we need to do less shooting off of our mouths. Also, I guess I never got excited because Musk didn't come up with those innovations, the engineers working for him did. He just bought Tesla and Starlink and SpaceX. I mean money is important, and you need it to prototype and build all this innovative stuff, so I don't mean to discount that. But it's not his supposed genius behind it. +

@bruce_toews If it makes you feel any better, I don't think any of us thought Twitter would implode in the way it has, or as quickly. I was skeptical from the beginning, and I just thought Musk would speedrun the moderation curve but otherwise it would be fine. Not that speedrunning the moderation curve on a site that big is fine, but I wasn't expecting most of the other stuff.
