@cublanco @Ken @technocounselor I kind of had a foot in both worlds. Had tape recorder for huge chunks of it, including college, did get a Braille 'N Speak and had a desktop, but didn't get my first laptop until very late in college.

I guess today starts the era of major media outlets finding out to their shock that the leopard ate their face.

Whats that you say, favoriting a post is functionally useless because there’s no algorithm on Mastodon?

Tell that to my instant gratification addicted lizard brain that’s getting hit with a tidal wave of dopamine every time my phone vibrates.

@Lino0876 I'm doing my best to exercise more, but it's totally OK not to use the fitness stuff. Set it to 100 per day and you'll easily make that until you're ready to start incorporating exercise.

I’ve dropped a note to #NPR via https://help.npr.org/contact/s/contact?request=Other encouraging them to launch their own instance of #Mastodon (since they now are off #Twitter and could benefit from moving all their accounts here).

I encourage everyone here to do the same and boost this so we can show them there’s an audience for their accounts here.
