I dunno, I don’t begrudge anyone their choices about how to social media, but I’m just done with providing free beta testing and Thought Leadership to another commercial service to help them reach exponential growth.

If the service matures and cross-federation is possible I’ll enjoy following good people on Bluesky or wherever. I’m just gonna sit out the part where I’m acting as unpaid QA.

I want to publically thank great allies like @mmasnick and @caseynewton for advocating on behalf of disabled people on #Bluesky. When it’s clear that not much effort has been made to incorporate #accessibility in the design of Bluesky’s interface, influencial people like Mike Masnick and Casey Newton are speaking up to try and change the culture. We see you, and we appreciate you.

Do you know often you use #encryption? 🤔

You may not notice all the daily encrypted interactions you have, but you surely would notice if your private data was accessed because of a lack of strong encryption.

Take a look at a day with encryption 🔒👇

It’s really depressing sometimes that a perfect cautionary tale 1984 was written and Handmaid’s Tale was written and even Fahrenheit 451 was written about destroying books but in the end they just ban those books from existence with the stroke of a pen.

♫ I am a language model of a modern major general
I’m trained upon a giant mass of textual material
I’ve billions of parameters and answer questions various
Responses range from perfect to unwittingly hilarious
I’m very well acquainted too with matters mathematical
As long as with correctness you’re not overly fanatical
While many complex queries I can easily elucidate
I have an awkward tendency to freewheel and hallucinate ♫

Thank you Steve Rudner, whoever you are

Kinda tired of the whole “I made a lot of money building the Torment Nexus but now I quit and am warning you about the Torment Nexus (buy my book)” redemption arch for tech people we seem to have settled on.

So for the Games for Blind gamers jam 2 I used my custom made engine that is used to make Blind Accessible RPG games. If you’re interested in learning more about the engine, let me know what you think here! You can’t use the engine yet, but I break down who it’s for, and what its current feature set is. https://ericbomb.itch.io/the-unseen-rpg-engine
