Good afternoon everybody and welcome to Sunday. John and I are just waiting on some groceries which include lunch and reading a book. I almost typed “listening to a book” but I caught myself in time to continue my policy of refusing to make a distinction between reading in the typical way and reading in alternative ways like listening.

Morning everybody, I guess we’re doing Tuesday. I’m still drinking my first cup of coffee.

Oh man I think I’ve got the WordPress activitypub plugin set up just the way I want it and so my content (or at least the note content) looks like I want it to on Mastodon and other fediverse apps and I get to completely ignore everyone’s character limits and I’m kind of proud of this accident.

I just tried to press Windows+S instead of Windows+D to navigate back to my desktop after doing something in my browser, and kids, this is why that second mug of coffee is really important and should not be skipped by me.

I need to figure out how to migrate all the podcasts I have in Downcast on my old phone to my current phone. I think I'd listen to more of them if I didn't have to be stuck at my desk to do it, but my podcast subscriptions are somewhat disrupted right now between devices.

Morning everybody and welcome to Monday. We're just waiting on some groceries in preparation for some bad weather headed our way.

OK federated hive mind, I need someone to explain the concept of declaring alternate drinking days for St. Patrick's Day because apparently this has been declared which means after our dinner order was cancelled twice and we opted for pizza the only thing they had left was large stuffed crust. I don't remember this being a thing when I was in college but then again we drank every weekend.
