Get in Babkans, those of you on micro.blog, and other fedizens, we're doing Wednesday.

The laundry has been dropped off, so I have chores to do this afternoon along with work stuff. Also, it's flooding here.

I suppose I have to congratulate the White Socks for winning yesterday's game, since that's sportsmanlike, but I'm looking forward to today's game this afternoon in which my Braves will hopefully pay the White Socks back for the win. Go Braves!

Get in Babkans, those of you on micro.blog, and other fedizens, we're doing Tuesday.

So far this morning, I've spilled coffee on my desk, which I mostly have cleaned up but I'm going to have to move some stuff to get the rest of it. It's still raining outside so no opening the windows today, but hopefully I'll be able to get stuff done today that isn't cleaning up messes and/or putting out fires.

John and I decided not to make ourselves suffer and we switched back to our book in order to avoid the rest of the trainwreck that was the rained-out broadcast. Also, we figure that the White Socks aren't coming back even if the rest of the game isn't just called off due to the rain.

Get in Babkans, those of you on micro.blog, and other fedizens, we're doing Monday.

I'm currently drinking my second cup of coffee, breakfast has been consumed, and John and I are rereading the Camel Club series by David Baldacci. The Want To Read pile continues to grow, and otherwise I'll be getting as much work done as I can today. Pretty boring other than that.

First, I'd like to congratulate Mastodon on its latest milestone, at least according to the Mastodon User Count bot. I realize that there is a dispute about these numbers, and that they do not cover the entire fediverse, but congratulations nonetheless.

John and I are just doing various chores around the house, and we will be cooking some barbecue briscuit baked beans with lil smokes later on because it's something that gives us a few meals and we enjoy it.

Also, we're reading the Tony Lord series by Richard North Patterson. We haven't rendered a verdict yet.

Get in Babkans, those of you on micro.blog, and other fedizens, we're doing Sunday.

For my Christian friends, I hope you all have a meaningful Sunday. For the rest of us, including my atheist friends, I hope it's a fun or relaxing day, whichever one you would enjoy more.

John and I are just reading through the Rosato and dinunzio series by Lisa Scottoline. Breakfast has been consumed along with coffee, and John is taking a nap.
