It's snowing again, but all the laundry's folded and put away, and the bed's made, and dinner has been consumed, and we have a roof over our heads and it's nice and warm in here so I don't mind too much. But this is the second or third time we've had snow since the beginning of November and it isn't supposed to be like this yet.

The Overcast web player is broken from an accessibility standpoint, so I'm thinking of switching my podcasts over to Miniflux, which is what I'm now using for the rest of my RSS feeds and which I am also currently loving. Can anyone who's using Lire chime in with whether or not it will properly handle podcast enclosures? Or am I better off just sticking with Overcast and remembering I can no longer use the web player? I'm planning to get Lire anyway for regular RSS stuff.

So I updated my phone to iOS18, and apparently we have a repeat of the VoiceOver bug where the keyboard doesn't speak, at least when entering passcodes. So I'm waiting for the 15-minute expiration so I can attempt to unlock my phone and hopefully get it right so that the phone doesn't lock me out again after one try. How does this stuff get past QA?

/me looks at headlines. Oh goody! Another pogrom, except this time in Montreal. Were there any Israeli soccer hooligans within a 150-mile radius or anything, or are we just not pretending this time? People who are just complaining about the mainstream media being too friendly to Israel but whose best friends are Jews they can't name are dying to know. 👁
