Testing one more time, both to Twitter and Facebook, this time without a photo. For the FB crowd, apparently Facebook will allow me to publish photos minus my provided alt text, while Twitter will not allow me to publish photos at all. Death to all silos. Kill them before they kill the open web.

It is with great sadness that I have come to the conclusion that it is time to abandon WordPress post formats in favor of straight no chaser indieweb post kinds. These really do appear to be much more easy to extend both in and of themselves, and with in WordPress.

Current status: Helping Denise breathe new life into her Jobina blog, which I’ve missed. Also, yelling at technology and rebelling against the fact that I really shouldn’t sleep in tomorrow. Maybe sleeping till 7 is acceptable. Oh well, if it’s not, screw it. I’m doing it anyway.

I’m working on backfeeding all my Goodreads statuses and book review data to my personal blog. For now, I’m starting with new statuses for my 2018 reading challenge. So, here’s the first one. For now there will be two copies on social media, and I will go in and tell Goodreads not to syndicate to Facebook and Twitter and syndicate from my blog instead. 7% done with Getting Things Done, by David Allen. I’m really going to enjoy implementing everything in this book. I’m glad the strategies are technology agnostic. It means that I’ll need to spend less time trying to redesign and then implement around inaccessible technology. This is the first book in this year’s Goodreads challenge, and I’m also going to enjoy adding status updates with actual text to the completion status of each book.
