Coffee with a shot of whisky is a very pleasant experience. 8-oz. coffee to 1-oz. whisky. For sipping not guzzling.

Yeah. If you're going to do that, make sure you eat a good breakfast. Actually you should do that anyway but especially if you're going to thoroughly enjoy the coffee. With or without a shot of whisky.

OK so it sounds like we use about the same amount of coffee when it's all said and done. Our scoop is just smaller but it works out to almost a cup by the time it's time to add the water.

Are you using a traditional scoop or something else?

Yes. I enjoy coffee very much.
