Get in #fedizens we're over halfway through Wednesday. Laundry is out and back, and I will put that away this afternoon once I finish my coffee. I think we're in for another heatwave, but the last few days have been very nice and so far the air conditioners are keeping up. Maybe we'll get lucky and not have as much humidity.

You ended it and shoved authoritarian control of women's bodies down our throats. - Agree to disagree was called LGBTQ inclusion. You banned it from schools, libraries, bathrooms, sports and the military. - Agree to disagree was called Black Lives Matter. You mocked it and spat on it and threatened us with violence if we "try that in a small town". - Agree to disagree was called Democracy. You traitors tried to kill it and install a military coup of your orange god emperor instead. So no. Apparently, "we" CAN'T agree to disagree. And that's entirely your fault.

I assume you get why it's not a nice thing to say that "slavery helped black people in some ways" but I think some people miss why this particular idea is *exceptionally* racist. One of the main arguments to justify slavery was that it "civilized" black people by making us Christian & teaching us obedience to our "betters." Black people were "lucky" or "better off" as slaves. It assumes that when people were enslaved they had no skills, nothing to offer, that they were basically animals.
