@tristan Kind of reminds me of the posts being put out around the time of the Swift UI introduction. Everybody wanted all this experience in Swift when it was mere months old.

@objectinspace If he manages to actually encrypt DMs, good on him. It'll be the single good thing he's done for Twitter. But I'll believe it when I see it, and I expect at minimum 3 separate attempts to roll it out only to have it blow up in his face through fuckups.

@objectinspace Well yeah noone's going to literally do that. And given the stuff with the Twitter Files, he's already demonstrated he'd hand them over with enough motivation.

@objectinspace I mean look I don't think he's actually going to encrypt DMs. I think he's just making another promise in the dark which the media is all too eager to swallow. (Well, and old relatives, but let's not go there). I'd actually congratulate him though if he actually did it and implemented it well. Not holding my breath though.

@DianaThompson There have definitely been lots of accessibility improvements, but honestly the whole thing is just an efficiency nightmare while using a screen reader.
