Today is apparently the one hundred and thirty-third anniversary of the day Anne Sullivan began teaching Helen Keller. I would like to know why we continue to honor the memory of someone, (namely Keller), who was a passionate advocate for eugenics and who never reconsidered that position even after people with disabilities were specifically targeted for extermination as part of the holocaust
