OK, one more time for the folks in the back. “Works best with $FavoriteBrowser” is not OK. Ever. It wasn’t OK when Internet Explorer was the favorite, and it definitely isn’t OK now that Chrome’s the favorite, and it’s a damn shame that browser discrimination is back in style.
Call it what it is, developer laziness
Developer laziness, management laziness for not being willing to allocate resources to QA, laziness all around. And don’t even get me started on “Well, it works with Jaws, so it’s accessible”. Honestly I hear more of that from blind people than any developer. Cross-platform as much as possible, or nothing at all. Also while I’m at it, if it ain’t open, it ain’t the web.
