OK so I'm not the only one making new friends this week lol.

@sarajw @yatil @Marco I use Windows and switch between NVDA and Jaws for Windows. I owned a Mack at one point and found that there was a ton of stuff that was really clunky with VoiceOver. Also I need a working terminal.

@svenja @yatil @Marco Na you're not a fandroid, you're not all over everybody's mentions going "Well actually you should use Android Apple bad Oh and by the way here's the 3,000 hacks you need to do out of the box to get a basic setup working as a blind person but really it's no big deal."

@svenja @yatil @Marco And before any Fandroids show up in this thread, neither I nor my husband have time to mess around with devices to get them working. We need them to just work and we don't want to spend time having to hack on devices we depend on. 🙂

@svenja @yatil @Marco Yeah definitely get needing a working screen reader. That's where we are and a huge reason why we use Apple stuff.

@yatil @svenja @Marco Like I said there's no right or wrong way to do this. Not showering with the watch is cool too and sometimes I'll do that if I want some time away from the phone or something like that.

@sarajw @svenja @Marco Does the 9 count as a new model that's dive certified? Or is that just the 10 and above.

@blindndangerous @BorrisInABox @Jage Basically yes. Except where people usually realize you use Google Translate when you need a rough idea of something but it's not reliable, with AI coding they go "Yay let's use this in the work codebase!" which is a bad idea.
