@Doug73 I'm skipping this round of social media experimentation. I still have Facebook which I occasionally look at and post to, and I have Mastodon for now, but Mastodon is my last stop.

Not anymore. All the "find Twitter people on Mastodon" services quit working after the API changes over at Twitter. The only thing that still works is bird.makeup for following specific twitter feeds on Mastodon.

Na it's not a rip-off of Mastodon, it's an entirely separate protocol and overlaying parts. Not sure about it's accessibility, I've heard conflicting reports.

@serge Oh, and anti-Jewish violence has been part of this since the first night and is still ongoing, so no, "we're just complaining about the mainstream media" doesn't fucking cut it. At all.

@serge Yeah you also shouldn't blame a whole country for the acts of shitty people living in said country, and you've told on yourself by admitting you have a problem with not only Israel's government, but Israel itself. Does any of this apply to any other country? Because I can't seem to find any anti-Iran or anti-North Korea or anti-Venezuela or hell, even anti-UK folks, just anti-Israel ones who can't or won't figure out why being anti the Jewish state while somehow managing to not be anti any other country on the planet no matter how badly they abuse human rights might be problematic.

There's not a bit of context that makes any of the violence going on in Amsterdam acceptable. I'd like to say I can't believe I have to say this, but honestly the fediverse and the left have spent the last year demonstrating again and again that anything is entirely fine as long as the target is those Jews we don't like so the only bit that's shocking at this point is who it's going to come from next.
