I think I like this way of looking at it. I mean, that doesn't help any of us whose bosses expect the thing to get deployed, but silver linings and all that.

So if you're reliant on REST API stuff don't use them because they will (a) casche your endpoints and (b) even when you exclude those from casche they'll end up back in the cue. Pagely is a little more expensive but doesn't tend to have these issues.
