5th Cir: Not clearly established you CAN’T stop for a mocha frap on the way to the ER.

(All prior precedent involves stoping for vanilla lattes, dontcha know!) https://t.co/JFW6G7TKDT

Dear Apple: I know there’s still time to close my move and exercise rings and I’ll get to it before the day is done but this is, after all, the middle of the work day. Be reasonable.

Update on the phone situation: It’s a hardware issue and so we’re figuring out to do because we already needed to replace John’s phone and now we apparently need to replace mine. Very much not happy about what is now likely the reality of having to drop an unexpected dime on a phone. We were waiting until we could get phones with more than 64GB of storage. I’ll get over this, probably once I’m done with the draging kicking and screaming into yet another unplanned iPhone upgrade, but right now I’m just angry at the whole situation.

“How many people complaining about loan forgiveness have campaigned against the mortgage interest deduction? It costs taxpayers tens of billions of dollars every year, and its recipients — homeowners who itemize their deductions — are disproportionately wealthy.” https://t.co/zb2NyPwA5A

The core of the bad faith here is that everyone complaining about the alleged "regressivity" of debt cancelation doesn't lift a finger to defend or expand more targeted anti-poverty programs.

This is a flat out lie. Smearing the people who risked their lives for us and also those of us veterans who have worked to get them to safety. She’s a racist and a bigot. https://t.co/T5FhXQgDTh

That feeling when the audio on your phone is very laggy and full of crud, so you restart your phone, and that doesn’t fix it, and you eliminate things like bluetooth by turning on airplane mode, and Oh God I am not looking forward to even the possibility of having to drop an unplanned $1,000 minimum on a fucking phone when the plan was to run this one for as long as it could run without upgrading. I am absolutely not looking forward to the possibility of being dragged kicking and screaming into another upgrade.

Conservatives: minimum wage shouldn't be a living wage; McJobs are a stepping stone, not a career
Also conservatives: Well, you *chose* to take out predatory, ursury-interest loans for that degree
And: college is a scam.

This is really not a smart take. Every case officer on the planet laughing at this. Documents are what every intel service on the planet actually covets the most. Goodness. https://t.co/iMtXBIbHSd

In any case, if saying mean things about the opposition party pushes away swing voters, why does the GOP win them so frequently running that exact strategy?
See how quick that falls apart. Also wrong is the theory that being mean drives the other party's turnout.
No more myths. https://t.co/IIzPJKDNtL
