"Hey now that gas is down what should we do with our Biden stickers?"
Biden caused avian flu. I saw him walking around farms in Maryland coughing on chickens

Good morning everybody and welcome to Tuesday. I'm drinking coffee and doing braille display maintenance this morning, along with sorting some Microsoft Word fuckery with a large document. Otherwise lots of work to get to today. The coctail didn't happen last night because I fell asleep, but ingredients are in the fridge for when I get some downtime.

Sen. Marco Rubio just wrote this editorial regarding a potential TikTok ban.

It's apparent to me that his gripe isn't with TikTok's surveillance or algorithms or data collection per se.

It's that a Chinese company is doing it.

Apparently, if TikTok were American, they would be peachy keen.

But Chinese? That's bad!

I don't like TikTok, and I believe it's generally an evil corporation. Yet I also dislike how Sen. Rubio is pushing yellow peril.

Thanks so much everybody for all the birthday wishes. I have a very full tummy right now after my birthday lunch, which was a steak with all the trimmings except no bacon on the potatoe. Saving the dessert for later to go with the coctail.

Damn. I was going to pour myself a Moscow Mule to have with lunch, but I forgot to put the rest of the ingredients in the fridge to chill overnight. Guess that'll have to wait till dinner.

Good morning. "There's a rickety car outside that sounds like it's going to fall apart any minute now. It's my birthday today so I'm taking it as light as possible and just being lazy and listening to graphic audio. Oh and drinking coffee.

Another day where the two tracking apps on my phone are over a mile and a half apart in their estimates of the distance I walked. Probably gonna hold off on getting in a driverless cars for at least the next 40-50 years.

America wakes up to another tragedy. Some can’t accept that festivals like Lunar Year and Diwali are now mainstream in America. Fuck them.

“Media discovers tech entrepreneur widely proclaimed for years to be smarter than Einstein, kinder than Jesus, and wiser than Solomon actually isn’t”.

No questions then get asked as to who made said proclamations and no lessons are then learned as to why it might be a good idea to approach widely hyped technology with weary skepticism, as is pretty common among technologists actually working at the coalface.
