Just made a ton of changes to my The Events Calendar reset gist. Now is reassigns TEC custom properties to equivalent #WordPress core custom properties (configurable in `theme.json`) so that the designs are much more likely to match your theme out of the box.

Happily, I also got to remove some recommended template fixes because the plugin saw this and put them into the plugin 😊

My watch vibrates. I check the screen, and it reminds me to stand up. I rise. I walk. I open the cupboard and grab some cookies. Thank you, watch.

Hey you
In case you need it.
You really are important to the people around you. You really do matter. You deserve the nice things, and it’s okay to ask for help and to accept help.
You are loved. So very much.
Keep being the amazing person you are, because we love that person -
Until more #Accessible / #BlindFriendly clients are made (for other than specifically #Mastodon), most of us are purely out of luck!
How ya gonna expect most blind people to jump over to a different platform (with the exception to a #HomeSocial instance), if all the work is being specifically put into Mastodon?

@chanele"the laws of kashrus" is an in-depth exposition of the laws and their underlying concepts, while "The Kosher Kitchen" is more of a practical guide for applying the laws in your own kitchen.

@jamminjerry @MayAnderson2022 Die in a coffee pot? Why would you subject a coffee pot to such a horrid purpose?

Remember to take care of yourself. You can’t pour from an empty cup.

Naturally, sighted people can just allow Siri to set the event on the wrong day and correct it later manually, but this is not an option for the visually disabled.
*sigh* Okay. Figures. Just keep on telling people that all blind people can do with their iPhone is talk to Siri. So tiring and insulting. Like yes this bug is important. Yes it should be fixed. But blind people have got to be able to use VoiceOver if Siri doesn’t work, or breaks, or can’t read your voicemail, or whatever Apple does to it.

@Pipistrelle I think it's disconcerting because we're so used to it not being there and having to ask someone to describe the funny commercial.

For all of my friends out there who like whacky or unusual audio related content, I found this on a completely unrelated Google search. Such a cool idea!! https://youtu.be/hRnqQgjhlrg
