Get in fedizens, we’re doing Monday.

I slept in, so no morning minyan. I feel like I still need some sleep, but don’t want to screw up the sleep schedule I’ve finally gotten back on track so I dragged myself out of bed.

It’s going to be another hot one today, it’s already 71F/21C with humidity at 76%, and we’re supposed to get to 85F/29C. Air quality is also on the not good side at 60 for now. Let’s see where it goes.

So I’m generally planning on staying inside today, and of course getting work done.

Get in fedizens, we’re doing Sunday.

So this weekend’s been interesting. On Friday afternoon we got a very severe thunderstorm which seemed to come from nowhere, which resulted in a five-hour power outage. So I started the reboot all the things process Friday night since I was already up, and continued it yesterday morning. At least for my stuff. John’s computer still hasn’t gotten the treatment, and I’ll do that when he decides he wants it. Then, we had thunderstorms again last night, and fortunately I got my computer shut down in time. I’d like to put some UPSs in here, but this is an old building, and I have concerns about UPS batteries, specifically what’s been done since 2010 to ensure they don’t catch on fire when paired with older electrical infrastructure, because let me tell you UPS battery fires are fucking bad and I’d rather we not experience one of those. So I need to do some looking and then figure out which stuff should be on a UPS. Probably just the computers and router/modem.

In sportsball, the Rays won yesterday, both games, which is awesome. And we get baseball in the afternoon today.
