Do you use a braille display as part of your communication strategy, or wing it in other ways? I used to do tech support via TTY as part of my job for Freedom Scientific back in the day, so I'm curious.
I totally understand.
Yes we do. We should do virtual coffee sometime.
Well mine is disability, but we paid into that too. And the worst possible way to deal with any of this is to let Elon Musk and his band of sad nerds run roughshod over things they refuse to learn to understand.
Yeah same.
Thank you!
Yep. Especially the people who scream the loudest about how they're eliminating it. As people with disabilities, we are so screwed.
@gocu54 @DavidGoldfield Please tell me one of you has archives of this stuff.
@mcourcel @gocu54 @DavidGoldfield John says you guys are cheaters because he never took his apart. I don't think you're cheaters, just early hackers.
@gocu54 @DavidGoldfield LOL you're such a nered Bruce.
Pretty much.
@gocu54 @DavidGoldfield Here let me mess up this thread even more. Rubik's Cube and its younger brother, Rubik's Snake. And old school answering machines because voicemail didn't exist. I mean the ones that took regular cassette tapes, not microcassettes. Oh and VCR's. And VHS VS. Betamax.
No I don't mean migrants. I mean Palestinians who, for example, have citizenship in Jordan, but are still discriminated against at every turn. Or Palestinians who have lived in Lebanon for decades but who can't get citizenship or work in certain careers because the Lebanese government likes using them as pawns. And don't even get me starte on Syria, under either the old or new regime.
@gocu54 @DavidGoldfield I was going to mention Tellme but Bruce got to it first.
Is there a start-to-finish manual for iOS Shortcuts? Sort of like documentation plus a function reference? Also, can I create them using my PC or do I have to use my phone. Some of the scripting I'd like to do for parts of shortcuts would be incredibly tedious on a touch screen. Thanks in advance!
@technocounselor Guess who's never getting away with counter surfing?
@gocu54 Dragging the phone down the hall so the cord stretched across the floor. Oh and call waiting kicking you off the internet.
Cool, but I'm not calling you famous until you're on TV describing the tornado.
That's bad. I hope you have a speedy recovery. And that you find a way into your phone. And that your roommate has a speedy recovery too.
Yay Athena!
