@mikedoise @kaveinthran @weirdwriter Just to add to this, automated testing can only reliably catch somewhere around 25% of criteria, and a lot of those require the tester to go back and manually check. AI doesn't fix this, so it's absolutely vital for a screen-reader-only tester to make it clear to the client what their limitations are.

@talon @KaraLG84 @SteveSawczyn @HNguyenLy I suspect he was probably just venting and then we all sort of jumped in and made this important. Sometimes I think Mastodon needs the option to prevent replies on a post-by-post basis, or at least the ability to restrict replies.

@talon @KaraLG84 @SteveSawczyn @HNguyenLy Fair question. I think it only matters when questions of loss of income on the part of effected people is in play. I.E., artists and others who are having their work stolen to train these LLMs.

@SteveSawczyn @talon @HNguyenLy I vote we call this "spaghetti music", because it's usually people who don't understand anything about music doing the stringing together. Similar to how "spaghetti code" or "copypasta" is code strung together to come up with something that works without the stringer understanding what they're stringing together.

@SteveSawczyn @talon @HNguyenLy In the worst case though they're at best speaking rhythmically, and at the other end of the autotune, listeners can't really be sure which it is/to what extent autotune is carrying the weight.

Definitely works on iPhone, I believe it also works on Android.
