That is so awesome.

@nycki96 Seconding.

@stirlock We didn't have Spotify and stuff, but that was the beginning of the CARP era, and that legislation more than anything else killed most internet radio, especially for hobbyists. Part of the reason why the hobbyist stations still chug along is because there aren't anough of them to get on anyone's radar. If they get big or there are a lot of them, stinks will start to be made about licensing.

@lynnskyi Yeah that's going to happen. It's not even anybody's fault.

@lynnskyi None of us are superhuman. All we can do is our best, and when things inevitably get screwed up, spend as little time as possible beating ourselves up over it.

@nycki96 Yes this.

@jakobrosin What? We can use Text Expander on Windows? Filing under "I was today years old".

I don't think so, at least not now. People were probably happier when the network was smaller, and at some point during the last year and a half it got too big to allow for that.

Good for you you should absolutely do this.

@startrek2024 Yeah we usually just pay the overage because honestly the next option is to upgrade to a business plan which is far more costly.

Nothing spectacular, although we did get the makings for buffalo wings for this saturday's Ohio State game.

@bitsacb Yeah we have Comcast, but smaller companies do this too. It's partly a function of the state of infrastructure in rural areas, which is, spoiler alert, in pretty poor shape for various reasons.

@bitsacb We still have data caps. Trust me they're way more common outside of big cities in the U.S. than you might think.

@sapphireangel Yeah this little guy's being quite the bastard about this.

I think it's just one so that's good at least.
