Good morning everybody. It's raining here, and earlier this week I got to listen to an older relative respond to Elon's Twitter fuckery with "well there's good and there's bad." I really should write up the rant I delivered because I was absolutely not having it.

Just saw a post.news link, and I am not sharing or clicking that shit until its founders and the other people making the rules over there change their stance on accessibility to "Let's do this". Unless that happens, I won't cry if/when it fails.

I need to finish redoing my h-card, because I want a more full and accessible version for my site, but I'm getting sleepy so I'll be putting this off until tomorrow.

Well apparently I'm living dangerously today because I came very close to spilling coffee on my keyboard.

Morning everybody. Just having some breakfast and trying to motivate myself to work today.

I get that Aira is expensive to run. However, I would like to point out that I can get an actual honest to God dedicated server from Hurricane frickin Electric for less than that mid-range price, and on top of my concerns about what they're using all the data they're snarfing for and their complete lack of transparency about any of this I will continue not subscribing and insisting others not use Aira in my presence.

Because it's the start of a new year, I'm trying to convince myself to get a bike ride in. It's not going well but there's still time left in the day.

Good afternoon all. We got a bunch of housework done today, and we'll have a crockpot of chili going starting tomorrow morning, and there's a chocolate cream pie in the fridge for dessert over the weekend and it's all mine muahahahahahahaha!

Dinner has been consumed. Very full tummy now.

You'llo probably want to set draft for posts via webhooks because sometimes IFTTT does really fucked-up cashing with some RSS feeds (which is not documented) and also some services (which is also not documented).

OK the thing you need to get IFTTT to set post status to draft when using webhooks is &post-status=draft

So the IFTTT webhooks service just isn't that well-documented. At all.

I'm throwing things at the wall to see what sticks and will post a solve for posting drafts when I find one that works.

I've been a bit too busy lately to do anything other than read Mastodon, and I have to say I've missed interacting with you lovely people.
