Fail2Ban is set to only allow connections from a no longer available IP address. So I'm going to boot into recovery mode which will hopefully reset back to the default config and then allow all. I'm trying to avoid nuking this thing from orbit because that would just be a huge hassle.

Going to get some dinner and then buckle down and fix this fucking server.

Get in #fedizens we're doing Tuesday. This morning has started with Jaws randomly crashing so I think I'll be doing another restart. Oh joy!

I need to spend more time with Digital Ocean docs but I'm tired so I'm packing it in for Monday.

I just enjoyed a very good salad and now have a pleasantly full tummy.

I was all set, at least from my website's end, to share workouts from Apple Health/Fitness to my website, until I found that Apple shares workouts as an image and there is no way to just copy the text. That's just stupid.

Get in #fedizens we're most of the way through Thursday. Our sleep schedules are officially fucked, and I at least need to get mine back on track. I took a day away from the computer yesterday and am catching up on stuff.

Bookmarks getting a workout today because I don't have time to click on stuff and read it.

Get in #fedizens we're doing Tuesday. Since I couldn't decide what to listen to for work, I just went with Water Colors on SiriusXM.

Also, the Instacart app kept crashing VoiceOver while I was trying to chat with a shopper, plus the afternoon has been taken up with disruptive storms. I'm done with today.

So I'm leaving John to listen to the graphic audio by himself because it jumped the shark into complete ridiculousness and predictable bullshit during the last book and that's already 4 hours I'm not getting back I'm not about to add another 5 hours.

Still sleepy.

It's raining outside, which is nice. As long as it doesn't become a thunderstorm with the potential to knock out power again.

Get in #fedizens we're doing Sunday. John and I slept really late today and have 0 regrets. We're still drinking coffee and restarting the computers after the 1 second power blip that took them out. Other than that, just listening to graphic audio.

I love being able to edit posts on Mastodon.
