Me: Sends long email answering all the questions in as much detail as I can at this point.

Them: "sounds good. Does $time work for you?"

Me, in my head: "You little moron, why are you still trying to turn this into a meeting there is literally nothing I can tell you in that meeting that I didn't already say in an email and I really can't stand it when people waste my time just because they need to have a security blanky or whatever."

Sheesh.

Get in #babkans and other #fedizens we're doing Thursday.

#Today has been brought to you by: Marketers ruining everything and attempting to turn what can absolutely be taken care of in an email into meetings. I'm hoping the emails are satisfactory because I am just not in the mood to people today.

We put in a tiny grocery order this morning, and other than that are just trying to stay warm while we listen to some graphic audio. I'm working on my third cup of coffee.

Get in #babkans and other #fedizens we're halfway through Wednesday. (I typed Tuesday and had to erase and retype in case you're wondering how today is going).

It's still frickin freezing outside. The temperature was 11F/-11.67C this morning when I went out to get this week's clean laundry, and I still need to put that away.

Also, the Apple Watch John got me for my birthday never made it here yesterday even though UPS said it had been delivered, so Apple is sending another one since the customer service representative looked at the delivery photo and said he could see nothing in the photo.

Other than that, I'm just working on stuff, specifically, sending emails going back and forth about meetings.

Get in #babkans and other #fedizens we're doing Tuesday. Actually, we're most of the way through Tuesday.

It's of course frickin freezing out there Mr. Bigglesworth, and there's about an inch of snow on the front porch and I think we're expecting more but I'm not sure.

Since my birthday is coming up next week, John, who is the best husband in the world, got me a new Apple Watch, and I'm waiting on that to get here. Since it's shipping by UPS, and I don't want it to sit outside in the cold, I'm periodically checking outside for it.

I just had some chicken, broccali and potato soup for lunch, so the house smells like that for now. We just did a small grocery order and other than that I'm working and John's relaxing on the couch.

So I finally upgraded to Windows 11 yesterday. So far, definitely don't like the copilot in the side panel, and some things tend to be sluggish. I noticed the emoji keyboard took a bit to load once I pressed the keystroke. Maybe I'm just not used to it. Anyway, I'm now using Windows 11 whether I like it or not.

Get in #babkans and #fedizens we're doing Tuesday *and* we're starting the normal working days of 2024.

I started off the morning with an immediate project delay consisting of a headache that I'd rather not deal with this early in the year, but other than that things are normal here. John and I are just having our morning coffee and breakfast has been consumed. I'll be working on personal projects today as well as getting some house work done.

So I think John and I are going to just spend tonight doing what we usually do: Reading books. And if we're up at midnight then we're up at midnight, but if we're not, we'll a t least pat ourselves on the back and encourage everyone to do the same because we made it through 2023 you guys.

Get in #fedizens we're doing Sunday.

To my Christian friends, I hope you all have a blessed and meaningful day, and a joyous Christmas since today is Christmas Eve. For my atheist friends, I hope you have an awesome day, and, if you choose to observe some downtime, an enjoyable time however you choose to spend the next two or so days.

John and I are going over to his brother's house for dinner later on with the family, and other than that we're just listening to graphic audio and our other usual pursuits. #today
