I know this is first world problems, but I haz a sad. I was eating a snack of cheese crackers with beef pastrami, and really enjoying it, and then I needed to move something on the coffee table and my plate fell onto the floor ejecting the rest of my snack. And I was thoroughly enjoying that snack composed of the rest of the pastrami. #today

What a time to be alive. I just listened to Brett Stephens, of all people, talk about how there are consequences for horrible speech. I absolutely believe we should confront antisemitism no matter where it comes from, but I can't shake the suspicion that some of the people currently calling out left-wing antisemitism are doing so in order to shoehorn their already-existing politics into it. And honestly these people don't deserve the appelation of ally. #MazelDon

Good thing John updated the SMA yesterday because apparently Jaws 2024 is out as of today.

For the time being I have a tab open with Goodreads so that when I run across books I want to read from the #bookstodon hashtag or when I'm otherwise scrolling I can just add them to the want-to-read pile.

We have the windows open and are enjoying the breeze while we listen to the next Butch Karp book.

Stuff like this is why American Jews won't join the Republican party no matter how angry and disappointed we are at leftwing antisemitism.
