I strongly suspect that a significant percentage of the people jumping up and down in outrage over Whoopie Goldberg’s playing of the intentions card after her holocaust comments are just mad because it’s the wrong brand of anti-semite playing the intentions card. If we were talking about a right-wing anti-semite making these same comments these same people would be pleading good intentions and pulling out the Israel card for extra insurance.

John and I are having a productive morning. We put in a grocery order last night and scheduled it to be delivered this morning, and then, when we got up, we eventually decided we wanted some breakfast. So now our breakfast and grocery deliveries have created a race condition and we’re waiting to see which one gets here first within the specified delivery time.
