The Goodreads read shelf RSS feed was introducing too much cruft into my site, so I’ve disabled that IFTTT/web hooks recipe in favor of using an indieweb micropub client to post books with reading statuses. I’m still keeping the book updates recipe though. If I find a way to get the read shelf feed to post the way I’d like it to then I’ll re-enable so I can continue to post that sort of thing from my phone.

Second day with the new mechanical keyboards, and both John and I can confidently report that we absolutely love them and should have gotten them much sooner.

It’s been so much easier to get things done, and faster too.

I think I should probably change the keyboard layout for my screen reader from laptop to desktop, and if I have to travel at any time I’m going to really miss this mechanical keyboard.
