Today has been one of those days. I think the only productive thing I’ve done today is check and answer some emails, and download a plug-in boilerplate for some projects.
Right now I’m sitting outside enjoying a beer. I’m pretty much going to count this day as a mental health day. I’ll get back to productivity later.
I don’t know when later will be, and right now I’m really not worried about it. There’s a lot to be said for taking some down time, and I don’t do nearly enough of that. So here’s to me. Everyone play along and raise your glasses.

I find it ironic that, on a holiday that celebrates the contribution of workers, and that is supposed to be an extra day of rest and enjoyment for those workers, most of the aforementioned workers are … working. At least the ones I know. Happy Labor Day everybody, and if you happen to have the day off, enjoy yourselves.
