@FreakyFwoof I've been on Mastodon since 2018, and have only had occasion to use some sort of quote-like functionality twice. That's how necessary I find it to be here.

@cambridgeport90 Don't know if they have. I can see though where if a Mastodon instance is single-user that kind of data could be essentially PII and so the rel="noreferrer" attribute.

@cambridgeport90 Yeah I hear you on that. And I get that certain types of data shouldn't be collected unless necessary. But I don't think referrer data falls under that problem set, provided you don't do things like clicktracking ETC.
