It made it to 66F (18C) here today, which is definitely not normal for central PA this time of year. I'm guessing we're not going to have very many more days with winter temperatures, unless May turns out to be downright chilly like it was last year or something like that. We'll see what happens with the rest of March at any rate.
@acarson
We broke 70 in Michigan today
@imstilljeremy Yeah definitely not normal.
@imstilljeremy @acarson
I just got back from Florida and it was the same temp in Detroit as in Ft. Lauderdale.
@ViciousBabushka @imstilljeremy God this is messed up.
@acarson we actually got up to 69 today in Holt Michigan. most certainly not normal at all. considering our normal high temp is suppose to be around the mid 30’s right now. last tuesday we had a high of 72, and after midnight a few tornado warnings popped up around us. thank god we wern’t in the path of any of them, but still.
@JamminJerry When I got to PA just under five years ago, the temperature was something like 18F with a windchill of 6F. I don’t think that’s happening this year.
@JamminJerry Also, this is incredibly nerdy, because I was able to scroll through archives to find that data.
@acarson oh we have had a few cold days, and really cold nights, but not all that many. I think we had one or two nights near -20 for the windchill.
@acarson I know the NWS is saying that this past February was the warmest in 125 years beeting out 2017. that says a lot right there. that is for this area, and a lot of western michigan.
@acarson wouldn’t that have been some serious scrowling to go that far back?
@JamminJerry No because all I had to do was click on the link for March 2019 and then scroll a bit down the first page to find the appropria te checkin with the data.
@acarson ah, well there you go. that would have made it easy.
@acarson for what I am seeing in our forecast tuesday threw friday we are suppose to be mid 40’s threw low 50’s. only saturday we will be near what we should be at 40 for a high, but it looks like sunday we start going back up again to the mid 40’s to at least mid 50’s if the forecast holds true, and we know how often that happens. lol.
