Afternoon fedizens, we’ve made it to Friday, and we’re a good chunk of the way through it on top of that.
Not much has gone right today. I’ll have to find a way to get in touch with a human at Audible because somehow my Audible account is no longer merged with my Amazon account, and when I attempt to re-merge, I can’t complete the second step. So as a result, Audible thinks I’m not a member, although I can see my library if I log into Audible with my username instead of my email address.
I found out all this when I was attempting to pre-order the new Stone Barrington book that’s due to arrive on 6 June, and the new book from John Grisham which will be a sequel to The Firm coming out on 17 October. So hopefully I’ll get this sorted.
I’m definitely going to make time for a drink later on this evening since today’s been such a not good one.
In sportsball news, my Vegas Golden Knights play game one of t he conference finals tonight, the Florida Panthers won last night’s game in quadrupal overtime with a score of 3 to 2, and both the Tampa Bay Rays and Atlanta Braves play baseball tonight.
Oh, and the weather’s great again so we have the windows open.

@arush All I can say to that…WTF? I have never heard of that happening before, but somehow I’m not surprised. Considering Amazon does weird things all the time. I logged into it via Edge once and was randomly asked to solve a CAPTCHA without audio. Logged in via Chrome, and was able to get on.
