I finally started reading People Love Dead Jews in preparation for reading the new book, and I have to say that what I've read so far, (I'm somewhere around halfway through), is absolutely infuriating. But also it makes me wonder if internalized loving of dead Jews is a thing because some Jews and definitely Jewish orgs seem to be continuing to go along with it. Separately, I'm continuing to think on how to extricate msyelf as an individual from all these "gentlemen's agreements" that are no longer suiting American Jews but that we're so used to going along with because they worked for so long. Because fuck the gentlemen's agreements and everything that goes along with them.
