@dukepaaron The problem I have with the anti-AI campaign is that I know a ton of blind people who are using AI because they need things to be accessible or they need to create accessible things/recognize images/read labels ETC. and the sighted world, but especially the left, continues to refuse to do anything other than performative accessibility. And I don't think those people should be subject to what is more often than not holier-than-thou outrage and ostricization from a political coalition that loves to brag about how socially just it is while not doing the actual work when it comes to accessibility and disability rights. And sorry but it's progressive clergy like Ruttenberg who lead the effing charge on the holier-than-thou crap. OK that's my controversial post for today.
