Current status: Intentionally starving a Zoomax of power because, after three days of gloriously being able to use the replacement I ordered since the first one I got was defective, the replacement decided to get itself in a startup infinite loop this morning. So I'm hoping killing the battery resolves this. If not, John and I are both on the list for the new Humanware displays once they're available here. Other than braille display fails, just an ordinary Sunday over here.

Zoomax has been completely starved of power, and it's now recharging. It seems to have powered on normally and I'll see if I can access things once it has a full charge. I'm keeping the defective Orbit reader easily available so I can use it when the Zoomax decides to malfunction and has to be deprived of a charge so it resets again, and hoping that PA gets the Humanware displays soon. Also, John and I are making tater tot casserole later on with lots of vegetables. It should be really good and filling.
