Virtually everything they see as a threat to their "freedoms" involves challenging their place at the top of the social hierarchy and their way of life as the norm. Having to tolerate the existence of LGBT people and POC, and witness them being themselves in public, is "oppression." Criticizing them in any way is "oppression." The only way they can be "free" is to live in a society populated entirely by people like themselves.
