I attempted to make it clear that this was the first time I’ve seen any sustained chatter about this. I haven’t even seen much on NFB lists. I promise, this wasn’t a backhanded compliment. 🙂
My point is that sometimes even though the membership isn’t mobilized in equal strength among the various bills, that doesn’t mean HQ isn’t working the issue hard. We were doing that at the national level through our A&P Department.
It’s been on the radar for awhile. The strategy was less in the open before I think, but it was one of the issues we advocated for, or in this case against, at Washington Seminar. #NFBWS18
