Wouldn’t it be better to hit the divide between the haves and have nots at its source? Let’s maybe start with a media blitz that shows blind people doing more than posing for non-24 medicine commercials. The haves need to be shown as your average Joe to those that would assume us to be extraordinary, and it needs to be done in a medium that seeps into the subconscious of the people whose attitudes need changing.
aira being free still leaves the have nots as not having. Not sure why people would think (not that I think you think this) that this would solve the divide.
