In other news, I suspect microblog is the only social network I’ll be doing anything with once this round of dust settles. It’s the only one that hasn’t gone completely insane, and I have to thank Manton and everyone else who works behind the scenes to help keep it sane, along with the rest of the users of microblog for agreeing to go along with it. Mastodon is too much like Twitter and Facebook at this point, and that’s not a technological problem, or at least it mostly isn’t.
