I just got done attending this week’s WordPress Accessibility Team meeting, in which I got a chance to try the new Slack, since that’s what the WordPress project uses for communication. I remember when WordPress started using Slack back in 2014 at the last WordCamp San Francisco, and I have personally and professionally given Slack a metric ton of crap over the intervening years with regard to accessibility.

Status
Good morning and welcome to Friday. I’ve been eating breakfast every day for the last four months or so, and then skipped it yesterday, and believe me, I paid for it with a nagging headache that didn’t go away all night. I got up and ate breakfast this morning and am working on consuming caffeine and things seem to be under control. I guess I just didn’t consider how much dietary changes can influence things like background-process headaches.

Status
Tonight for dinner we are having barbecue rotisserie chicken with mustard potatoe salad. The potatoe salad has egg in it along with the usual stuff. This is going to be awesome, especially since there will be leftovers for later. No, it’s not homemade, we got it from the local deli, but sometimes that’s the best eating out.
