Republicans aren’t going to give a damn about any of this until it’s their privacy on the line at which point they’ll scream about their right to privacy. And I will remind as many of them as possible that they built this, they’ve thrown two decades of data privacy advocacy and policy into chaos, and I’m fine with their having to reap the benefits of the consequences they set into motion.
