The Internet Transition (Robin Berjon)
The Internet is allowing us to build a richer, more complex society but the way in which we Internet today is failing to support the governance systems that a more complex world requires. I take a look at why these issues are related, try to develop an intuition for a way forward, and point at the emerging field that is coming together to build that future.

@georgetakei@universeodon.com The best way to reduce* abortion is sex education, access to contraceptives, support of pregnant women, health care, and care for children whose mothers can't be there for them. Also general respect for women and real respect for families. Strangely the same people who want to ban abortion are not willing to provide any of these things. Because it's not about saving lifes, it's about controlling women.

*And if you really need/want an abortion, it should be safe and legal.
