@cstross This is probably true. That said, the whole thing about the on-the-ground stuff being destroyed as a result of the rapid unscheduled disassembly of the rocket, along with the on-the-ground human cost stuff, is bad, and people are right to criticize it.

It’s a computer punch card with every possible spot punched out, so what remains is a flimsy filamentous net of paper that instantly tears and jams up the card reader.

Randomly noting: if you’re in the US, in April of 2024, the US will have a solar eclipse pass over a bunch of states for the first time in 7 years, and for the last time in *decades*.

In the TestFlight app, if you saw a message says ”the developer removed you from the test program.” that’s a bug of TestFlight. I did not remove anyone from the test program of Mona Beta.

@treehousedarren @davetaylor2112 @maerlynofmiria the EU has a cookie law, but it's pretty specific about which cookies it applies to and when it applies, and it absolutely does not require the kind of hostility to non-acceptance we're currently seeing all over the place.

If you need organized religion to be a good person – you’re probably not a good person. Decent human beings don’t require religion to be decent human beings. If you believe you need organized religion to start being a decent human being – you likely need psychological help more than organized religion.
