@dangero This would be a horrible idea, not least because then GPT can then scrape all those servers for free training data. And that's just off the top of my head.

Hello everyone! Due to a large influx of users, we’re currently experiencing a large spike in our server’s load. As I try and tune the config to best deal with this situation, any donations to help with upgrading our hardware (and the general development of Calckey) are always appreciated! https://opencollective.com/calckey

We’d like to extend a warm welcome to Numa Solutions on their joining the fediverse via their own Mastodon server. We’re not sure but we believe they may be the first assistive tech company to officially join. https://social.pneumasolutions.com

@cambridgeport90 Yeah I think so, but I'm still using the mobile version so I'd have to double check the full one.

@cambridgeport90 It's got a mobile version that's a lot less cluttered.

@cambridgeport90 @heydon I'm using Innoreader right now on the computer, and Lyre on iOS.
Please DO NOT quote post me.
The feature isn’t even here yet, but just the idea of it is causing me so much anxiety. Quote tweets were the source of so much stress, harassment & misery for me on twitter. It’s an instant anxiety trigger.
So I’m just putting the request out there now & will add this to my bio when quote posts are a reality.
Please. I am begging you – DO NOT quote post me, even for positive reasons. Boosting is great. Replies are great. Quote posts NO.
Thanks 💙

@heydon Keeping this conversation open in its own buffer, and, there goes the web folder in my RSS reader.
If you have an active RSS feed about #frontend, #designSystems #generativeArt, #UX, #accessibility, or really anything to do with the web, please drop it here and I’ll repost it.
Okay, hear me out…an old-fashioned candy necklace but with Tums and Ibuprofen.
I want to send a special shout-out to my very VERY patient, chill livestock guardian dog Jack: every single baby goat we’ve had on this farm has to check and see if maybe, just maybe, there’s an udder with milk hiding somewhere on the dog.
And Jack just patiently lets them all learn he does not have an udder. He’s a very good boy.
Landlord has given us until May 1st to catch up on late rent and we have just raised half of one month since relaunching this GFM.
We’re at $7,781 out of $10,000 most of which was raised and spent over a year+ ago before a paid fellowship. Started sharing again to help with rent while between gigs.
Please share this where ever you can to help keep us housed.
Hi folks, a reminder that @deoan and I wrote up a blog post I’m really proud of about neurodiversity in cybersecurity – both our experiences, and practical tips for ND and neurotypical folks.
If you prefer to listen rather than read, we also combined with the awesome @NotTheLinux for a podcast around the same topics.
https://www.domaintools.com/resources/podcasts/154-not-your-neurotypical-episode/
This is a topic important to us, and I think important to infosec as well, so boosts, other shares, and feedback are all appreciated.

@yatil Them: "You need to acknowledge and defend our legitimacy!" Us: "OK, follow the same ethical and accountability practices the rest of us have to and agree to have all that enforced just like it is for us." Them: "Na, we're better than you but also why do you think we're partisan hacks?"
In a move that surprises absolutely noone, the entirety of the U.S. Supreme Court rejects any kind of oversight or enforcible code of ethics. And they wonder why Americans are questioning their legitimacy. https://abc7ny.com/supreme-court-justices-scotus-ethics-code-clarence-thomas/13192491/
