@summersun704 32-oz jar of spaghetti sauce, will make about 10 servings, freezes really well and tastes extra awesome the next day.

@summersun704 And one packet of chili powder, they have mild, medium and hot.

@summersun704 Once it comes to a boil, switch to low and leave the lid partially off when you're doing all this so it doesn't boil over. Also, brown ground beef first.

@summersun704 OK, can of kidney beans, can of ro-tel, some spaghetti sauce, pound of ground beef, put in pot, cook at medium until it comes to a boil. +

@dangero That could possibly work, but I think the elephant in the room in all the criticism of the Mastodon project just pointing people at mastodon.social is that discovery without recommendation engines is very very difficult to implement, let alone get right. Also, just because I think your idea's ultimately bad doesn't mean you shouldn't continue to throw stuff at the wall to see what resonates and what doesn't.

@dangero Not sure there's even an API endpoint for just the about page. And there would need to be, along with a way to block everything but that endpoint, in order for this to work. Right now the AI blocking methods are pretty blunt force, fia the robots.txt file.

@dangero Not with the kind of access you'd need to give it in order to get enough to summarize the content of a server.

@dangero This would be a horrible idea, not least because then GPT can then scrape all those servers for free training data. And that's just off the top of my head.
Hello everyone! Due to a large influx of users, we’re currently experiencing a large spike in our server’s load. As I try and tune the config to best deal with this situation, any donations to help with upgrading our hardware (and the general development of Calckey) are always appreciated! https://opencollective.com/calckey

We’d like to extend a warm welcome to Numa Solutions on their joining the fediverse via their own Mastodon server. We’re not sure but we believe they may be the first assistive tech company to officially join. https://social.pneumasolutions.com

@cambridgeport90 Yeah I think so, but I'm still using the mobile version so I'd have to double check the full one.

@cambridgeport90 It's got a mobile version that's a lot less cluttered.

@cambridgeport90 @heydon I'm using Innoreader right now on the computer, and Lyre on iOS.
Please DO NOT quote post me.
The feature isn’t even here yet, but just the idea of it is causing me so much anxiety. Quote tweets were the source of so much stress, harassment & misery for me on twitter. It’s an instant anxiety trigger.
So I’m just putting the request out there now & will add this to my bio when quote posts are a reality.
Please. I am begging you – DO NOT quote post me, even for positive reasons. Boosting is great. Replies are great. Quote posts NO.
Thanks 💙
