@pinkyfloyd @pinkyfloyd Oh shit it uses their new consul now. No go with screen reader. Welp time to call support and make them do it.

@pinkyfloyd @pinkyfloyd OK I see it now. That stupid new consul modal wouldn't close. Thanks a ton!

@pinkyfloyd Is that under recovery?

@pinkyfloyd Yeah that's what I'm thinking, but I can't figure out how to shut it off using Digital Ocean's very inaccessible browser-based consul in order to check. This is running Fail2ban though so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the culprit.

Current status: Trying to figure out why I can’t ssh into this droplet, and can’t log in via SFTP either. Just getting connection timed out, no prompt. Why can’t things just work today? I’ve already power cycled FFS. https://acarson.wtf/2023/05/28/256711/ State College(3ft)

@Meepercat @munchkinbear @philliesfan4 People say shit like that as if they really believe you get thousands of dollars or something. My response to them is that if they really believe I should just collect from the government, they're more than welcome to do it themselves and find out how hard shit is if that's what you do.

@BorrisInABox Yeah same.

@BorrisInABox I just … That's actively fucking hostile on their part. And the thing is, this used to not be a thing, because I have an archive from the middle of last year that contains this data.

@BorrisInABox Yes very boo and very hiss.

I can’t remember who it was that was asking on the fediverse about parcing likes from Twitter in some sort of a useable format with dates, but I am here to tell whoever it was that the reason we can’t do this is because Twitter does not include so much as a unix timestamp in the like.js file contained in your archive, which is also why we can’t sort from oldest to newest in the HTML renderer. All you get is the text and expanded archive.
Welp so much for that project… https://acarson.wtf/?p=256695 -
