@quanin @candicat3 You don't avoid laughing. You laugh like it's going out of style because honestly if you're asking your former wife to help with stuff for your new woman you deserve to be laughed at.

You should be proud of yourself if this kind of thing isn't your dayjob. I use WordPress, and there are a couple of t hings I need to sort out after the rebuild, but also I find myself constantly tweeking things and at this point have switched to a VPS.

I think there's a point where self-host all the things breaks down. Specifically when there's either a knowledge gap or time availability issue that is so significant that overcoming it would cause issues in other parts of life, and this is different for different people. But if you can, and there's not a ton of friction that you're unable to deal with, self-hosting is the way to go.
